Lockdown three has meant the closure of the golf course again, and it appears likely that this will remain the case for an extended period, unless the government heeds the current petition for the game to be permitted under appropriate social distancing rules.
As and when golf resumes however it is likely to be on a somewhat restricted basis. Detailed rules will be announced at that time on the site and also to those members whose email addresses are registered with the club, and on-line booking will resume here.
Onneley takes its safeguarding responsibilities very seriously; and the present crisis has tended to overshadow the ongoing priority that the club attaches to them across the board. This is therefore an opportune time to highlight the arrangements that all members should be aware of, and the role played in particular by Iain Colville, our welfare officer.
